Mike & Katrin McDonnell who run The Wine Buff stores in Cork city.

Their combined knowledge and experience of artisan wine is exeeded by few.In the cosy setting of the loft of Old Brennan’s wine bar, Oliver Plunkett St, & Katrin will bring attendees on a journey through Italy and it’s exceptional wines.

Explore a diverse selection of Italian wines (2 white & 3 red) ranging from Friuli-Venezia in the north, a classic central Tuscan and a La Marche all the way down to the sun-baked region of Puglia in the heel of Italy, even do a bit of Island hopping to Sardinia.

No lectures or lofty tasting notes — just great wine, and plenty of friendly conversation.

These exceptional wines will be complimented by cheese & charcutterie boards from Head Chef Helen Rossiter.
